Packed house tonight (Taken with instagram)

April 5, 2012

In Febuary I was looking for a new job. Well I’m pleased to say I’ve been enjoying my career at a new salon in Greenwood. Though everyday is a struggle to find new clients, I love it so much. I wake up when I want, I go to work when I want, I charge what I want. It’s wonderful.

My parents are moving to Florida at the end of May. It’s going to be very weird not having them aroud anymore. If Daniel didn’t work nights I don’t know how much of an effect it would have on me, but because he’s gone half of the week when I’m home, I spend a lot of time at my momma’s. So I guess the only thing I fear for the future is loneliness.

Daniel and I are building a house! It will be finished in August and it’s so exciting. I can’t wait to decorate and have my own nice big closet, and have friends over for wine and to have a dog and a big kitchen and I could go on and on!

Oh the joys of growing up.

Why can’t I be 21 forever.

My Tumblr, Hey Darling

I will post random pictures I like but my blog is not an endless vessel of random pictures of shoes and beautiful skinny women. Don’t get me wrong, I love browsing pages with great pictures but thats not what my personal page consists of. I’m sorry to disappoint. I prefer to randomly right about life, and movies and post lyrics from Bright Eyes.

I’m not interesting.

What I Live For

Is taking a second in the middle of the day and thinking to myself how unbelievably and incredibly in love I am.

My personal thoughts on Kony 2012 and the negative concerns of Invisible Children; Critics have raised concerns of nonprofit orginization Invisible Children, claiming they don’t use all their money made on funding and aiding the children of Africa, and they should be focused more on aiding rather than exploiting and raising awareness. The way I see it is there’s always going to be someone out there who disagrees with what you’re doing. I think it is a very smart move to exploit Kony. Why? Because people need to know about him. The more people that know about him, the more concerned the public will be. And yes, we do need government assistance to take him and the LRA down, how else would there be justice. I do agree with the concerns and awareness of Invisible Children and I look at my money as going to raise awareness, because at the end of the day, everyone should have a right to know about what is going on in the world around them, rather you care or not. When it comes down to is, Haters gonna Hate. Stop Kony 2012! View high resolution
